THE PLAN FOR TODAY

A Thoughtful Plan for the Property

Today’s plan carries that framework forward—expanding public access while thoughtfully bringing these uses together in a way that respects the property’s natural character, history, and role in the community.

A Legacy Worth Carrying Forward

For more than 30 years, the City’s vision for this property has included recreation, agriculture, and equestrian uses. Legacy Ranch carries that vision forward in a way that respects what is already here and creates more opportunities for the community to enjoy it.

The plan protects and enhances the places and programs that make this property meaningful—including Putuidem Village, the historic Swanner House, the Dr. Joe Cortez Dog Park, Otra Mas, and the surrounding open space.

Honoring San Juan Capistrano’s past while creating a place the community can experience for generations to come.
